Colleen has experience as a director and volunteer coordinator for nonprofit organizations such as CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Meals on Wheels, and Daytime Senior Center. She continued senior care as the Life Enrichment Director at a for-profit assisted living and memory care facility. Colleen has a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University. During her career, volunteering became a way of life as well. In her season at home, raising her two daughters, she became a Eucharistic Minister at Methodist Hospital, convicting her to continuously serve others. Colleen is passionate for encouraging the young and seniors in growing deeper with Christ. She believes Eagles Wings Retreat Center (EWRC) can be described in words by Henri Nowen, “Hospitality, therefore, means primarily the creation of free space, offering them space where change can take place. Opening of an opportunity to others to find God their way.”
